LONDON, February 7, 2025 (WAFA) – Britain reaffirmed on Friday its support for the independence of the International Criminal Court (ICC), emphasizing that there are no plans to impose sanctions on its personnel.
British media outlets reported that British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, in response to a question regarding the United Kingdom's position on the ICC following the imposition of sanctions by the United States on its officials, stated, "This is a matter for the United States."
“As for the United Kingdom, we support the independence of the International Criminal Court,” he said, adding that the UK have no plans to impose sanctions on its officials.
