CAIRO, Friday, January 31, 2025 (WAFA) – Cairo is scheduled to host Saturday a meeting of six Arab states to discuss regional developments, according to the Middle East News Agency.
Among the topics envisaged to be discussed at the meeting are the consolidation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement and the means to support the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) following Israel’s banning the agency from operating in the occupied territories.
The meeting will be attended by Egypt’s Foreign Affairs Minister Badr Abdelatty, Jordan’s Foreign Affairs Minister Ayman Safadi, Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, UAE’s Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Secretary-General of the PLO Executive Committee Hussein al-Sheikh and Secretary-General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
