PARIS, January 29, 2025 (WAFA) – France Tuesday affirmed its strong rejection of the forced displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
"France’s position has not changed: any forced displacement of Gaza’s population would be unacceptable," the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Paris emphasized that such actions would constitute "a serious violation of international law" and warned of far-reaching consequences for the region.
"It would be a major obstacle to the two-state solution and a destabilizing factor for our close partners, Egypt and Jordan," the statement added.
The ministry said "Gaza’s future lies with a future Palestinian state," underscoring its commitment to a two-state solution.
