NEW YORK, January 22, 2025 (WAFA) – The UN Special Rapporteur on the situation of human rights in the Palestinian territories, Francesca Albanese, warned of the possibility of Israel committing genocide in the West Bank similar to the one it committed in the Gaza Strip.

This came in a post on X, in which she commented on the aggression launched by the Israeli occupation forces on the city of Jenin and its camp.

Albanese continued: "The crimes of genocide committed by Israel against the Palestinians will not be limited to Gaza, if it is not forced to stop."

The number of slain Palestinians as a result of the ongoing occupation aggression on Jenin and its camp has reached 10, including a child, while the number of injuries has exceeded 40.
