GAZA, January 14, 2025 (WAFA) – An Israeli airstrike on Gaza City Tuesday evening killed two Palestinians and injured others, according to WAFA correspondents.
They said that an Israeli fighter jet carried out an airstrike targeting a gathering of civilians in the vicinity of the As-Saraya Junction in Gaza, killing at least two and injuring several others.
Meanwhile, another Israeli airstrike targeted a plot of agricultural land near the 17 Roundabout, west of Khan Younes, injuring two civilians, at a time when Israeli tanks shelled the eastern Qarara town, northeast of Khan Younes.
Israeli artillery also targeted the northern Nuseirat area in the central Strip.
Earlier today, Israeli bombardment killed two civilians after targeting a tent sheltering displaced persons in the Nuseirat refugee camp, two others in the Shati refugee camp in addition to at least 20 others in the bombing of various areas of the Strip Monday night in the predawn hours of Tuesday.
Israel has proceeded with its genocidal offensive on the war-torn Strip in complete disregard of the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which ordered Israel in a legally binding decision to halt its military offensive in Rafah, which may violate its obligations under the Genocide Convention.
Israel has been waging a devastating war on Gaza since October 7, killing at least of 46,645 Palestinians and injuring 110,012 others.
Moreover, at least 10,000 people are unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.
Palestinian and international organizations say that the majority of those killed and wounded are women and children.
The Israeli aggression has also resulted in the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from all over the Gaza Strip, with the vast majority of the displaced forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt – in what has become Palestine’s largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
