Two children injured by Israeli occupation forces near Jaba', south of Jenin

JENIN, January 12, 2025 (WAFA) – Two children were injured by live ammunition fired by Israeli occupation forces early this morning near the town of Jaba', to the south of Jenin in the occupied West Bank, according to medical sources.

The Palestine Red Crescent Society reported that its emergency teams transported the two injured children to medical facilities. One child, a 15-year-old boy, sustained a gunshot wound from live ammunition, while the other, a 13-year-old, was injured by shrapnel in his foot.

The incident occurred during an attack by Israeli colonists on a site near Jaba', which is close to the village of Silat al-Dhahr. Israeli forces had stormed the village in the early hours of the morning to secure the way for Israeli colonists to reach a location on the outskirts of the village, near Jaba'.
