CAIRO, December 5, 2024 (WAFA) – Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigration Badr Abdelatty Thursday called for intensifying efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, according to the official website of Egypt’s State Information Service.

Minister Abdelatty made his comments during a phone call with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.

Abdelatty briefed Kallas on the successive developments in the Middle East, where he emphasized the necessity of intensifying regional and international efforts to achieve an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and allowing the access of humanitarian aid to the enclave.
