GENEVA, December 4, 2024 (WAFA) - The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that WHO has evacuated an additional 11 children in need of cancer treatment from Gaza to Jordan, with 20 companions.
Thousands of patients across Gaza still need medical evacuations for life-saving medical care, he stressed in a post on X.
He said that WHO has urged for all corridors to be utilized for the safe transfer of patients outside the Gaza Strip.”
“Ultimately, peace is the best medicine.”
