Pro-Palestinian protesters disrupt shopping on Day of Solidarity with Palestinian People

GAZA, November, 30, 2024 (WAFA) – Several American cities witnessed massive demonstrations on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.

Activists expressed their anger at the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people since October 2003, taking advantage of the most important shopping day in the United States, "Black Friday", to demonstrate inside malls and shopping centers, by raising the Palestinian flag and banners denouncing the war.

Dozens of activists also held sit-ins in front of famous stores such as "Macy's" and "Best Buy", in an attempt to urge shoppers to boycott American companies to pressure the administration of President Joe Biden to stop the war in Gaza, as they were able to close a number of shopping centers in Boston, Dallas, and New York.

At the same time, activists were able to disrupt the "annual carnival in New York on the occasion of Thanksgiving, by blocking the road in front of participants in the celebratory march, to demand an end to the genocide in the Gaza Strip, and to deliver messages revealing the suffering of the Palestinian people due to the occupation.
