GAZA, Saturday, June 29, 2024 (WAFA) – Three civilians were killed this afternoon in an Israeli airstrike targeting northwest of the city of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
WAFA correspondent reported that the victims were transported to Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis after being struck by a missile fired from an Israeli reconnaissance drone in the Shakoush area, northwest of Rafah.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023 has claimed the lives of 37,834 Palestinians, predominantly children and women, and left 86,858 others injured.
Thousands more remain trapped either under rubble or on the streets, as Israeli forces obstruct the access of rescue teams and civil defense crews to reach them.
