GAZA, Saturday, June 29, 2024 (WAFA) – A series of Israeli airstrikes targeted various areas north of Gaza City this afternoon, resulting in multiple civilian casualties and injuries.
According to our correspondent on the ground, several civilians were killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed a house in the Al-Manara neighborhood in northern Gaza City.
Simultaneously, eyewitnesses reported that multiple civilians sustained varying degrees of injuries after being targeted by Israeli airstrikes in the Az-Zarqa area, also north of Gaza City.
The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023 has claimed the lives of 37,834 Palestinians, predominantly children and women, and left 86,858 others injured.
Thousands more remain trapped either under rubble or on the streets, as Israeli forces obstruct the access of rescue teams and civil defense crews to reach them.
