HEBRON, Wednesday, June 12, 2024 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces today intensified their oppressive measures against Palestinian residents in the Old City of Hebron and the eastern neighborhoods.

 Arif Jaber, a local activist, said that Israeli forces escalated their military and oppressive measures against the people in the Jaber, al-Salaymeh, and Wadi al-Hussein neighborhoods, east of the city.

He said that residents in the Old City of Hebron and areas to the east of the city have been subjected to escalated attacks by the occupation forces and colonists, particularly after October 7. Residents have been subjected to reprisals, detentions and attacks at checkpoints and throughout the area.

Israeli forces impose an evening curfew in those areas, preventing residents from leaving their homes

Jaber called on international community and humanitarian institutions to intervene urgently to put an end to all practices and violations committed by Israeli army and colonists.
