GAZA, Wednesday, November 1, 2023 (WAFA) - Dozens of Palestinian civilians were killed, and others were injured, Wednesday dawn, in the ongoing Israeli bombing of the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air, for the 26th day in a row.
WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation aircraft bombed east of Khan Yunis in the areas of Al-Zinah and Al-Qarara, and targeted two houses in separate areas, killing 12 Palestinians and injuring many others.
The area east of Juhr al-Dik in the central Gaza Strip also saw violent artillery shelling.
Medical sources in Gaza announced that main generators in Al-Shifa and Indonesian hospitals will get shut down soon due to the near exhaustion of fuel, which portends an unprecedented health disaster, especially after the closure of 15 out of 35 hospitals and 51 out of 72 primary health care centers, due to the destruction caused by bombing or lack of fuel. 24 hospitals in the northern Gaza Strip were asked to evacuate (the total capacity of these hospitals is 2,000 beds).
6 hospitals also suspended operations due to the severe fuel shortage. Health service centers also suffer from a shortage of blood units.
All communications and Internet services have been completely cut off with in the Gaza Strip, similar to the cut of all communications and Internet services last Friday, which lasted for approximately 36 hours, amid intense and unprecedented bombardment, the most violent since the start of the aggression on October 7th.
The occupation massacres committed against Palestinian people do not stop. After the massacre of Al-Baptisti Hospital, which resulted in the killing and injury of hundreds among those displaced there, the most horrific massacre was the one that took place in Jabalia camp, yesterday, after an entire residential square was targeted, and hundreds of civilians were killed and wounded.
Since October 7th, the Gaza Strip has been subjected to a comprehensive Israeli aggression, which has resulted in killing more than 8,610 Palestinians, and injuring more than 21,000 in an non-final toll, in addition to widespread destruction of infrastructure, homes, buildings, and facilities, and the cutting of electricity, water, and fuel, under continuous bombardment by occupation aircraft, artillery, and gunboats.
