GAZA, Sunday, October 15, 2023 (WAFA) – In a heart-breaking ceremony, dozens of Palestinian martyrs of the relentless Israeli genocide were laid to rest today in a mass grave in Gaza City due to the overwhelming number of casualties and a lack of space in the city's cemeteries.

WAFA correspondent said the burial sites in Gaza have reached their maximum capacity due to the high number of victims resulting from the wanton Israeli aggression.

Emergency services are also facing immense difficulties in evacuating victims from the debris, compounded by the extensive damage to infrastructure and roads leading to hospitals.

Gaza's hospitals are grappling with a humanitarian crisis, as they are overwhelmed by the huge volume of casualties under continuous bombardment of homes and buildings.  

The Ministry of Health said this morning that the number of Palestinians killed in Gaza and the West Bank since the beginning of the aggression last week has risen to 2,384, while the number of wounded individuals has surged to approximately 10,250.
