Newspapers Review: Israeli plans to build thousands of new housing units in the settlements focus of dailies

RAMALLAH, Tuesday, June 27, 2023 (WAFA) - The three Palestinian Arabic dailies published today, al-Hayat al-Jadida, al-Ayyam, and al-Quds, highlighted the Israeli occupation’s decision to build about 5,700 new housing units in the illegal settlements in the occupied territories.

They also highlighted statements by presidential spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh in response to remarks by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.

The following are the main front-page headlines of the three dailies:

Al-Quds:
