RAMALLAH, Tuesday, May 30, 2023 (WAFA) – Weather in Palestine today is partially cloudy to clear and mild with no change in temperature, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Wind is westerly to northwesterly, light to active at times. Sea waves are medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 17°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 24°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 23°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

No change in temperature is expected for  Wednesday, with sunny skies and moderate conditions expected on both days.

Hot to dry conditions are expected to prevail on Thursday and Friday as the temperature is expected to significantly rise, becoming 8°C above the seasonal average.

PMD warned people against direct exposure to the sunlight for long period during the heat wave and setting fire to dry grass.
