RAMALLAH, Monday, May 29, 2023 (WAFA) – Weather in Palestine today is partially cloudy with a drop in temperature as scattered rain showers are expected from time to time on some areas, to be accompanied by thunderstorms and hailfall at times, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Wind is southwesterly to northwesterly, light to active at times. Sea waves are medium.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 17°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 24°C and a low of 16°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 23°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 19°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
No change in temperature is expected for Tuesday and Wednesday, with sunny skies and moderate conditions expected on both days.
Hot to dry conditions are expected to prevail on Thursday as the temperature is expected to significantly rise, becoming 8°C above the seasonal average.
PMD warned people against the formation of floods in valleys and low areas on Sunday and Monday, mainly in the south and east of the country, slippery roads, and low horizontal visibility.
