RAMALLAH, Thursday, May 18, 2023 (WAFA) – Partially cloudy to mild conditions are expected today in Palestine as temperature significantly drops and becomes 3°C below the seasonal average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are westerly to northwesterly, moderate to active, and sea waves are medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 13°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 21°C and a low of 12°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 34°C and a low of 20°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 25°C and a low of 18°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Another drop in temperature is expected tomorrow, Friday, becoming 5°C below the seasonal average.

Saturday's weather is expected to be partly cloudy and mild, with a slight rise in temperature while remaining 4°C below the seasonal average.

Temperature rises significantly on Saturday to become around the seasonal average, said the PMD.
