‘Price Tag’ Vandals Hit Again in East Jerusalem

JERUSALEM, June 24, 2013 (WAFA) – “Price Tag” vandals attacked once again on Monday Palestinian property in occupied East Jerusalem, this time slashing tires of 22 cars parked in the all-Arab Beit Hanina neighborhood, according to witnesses.

The vandals, believed to be Israelis, spray painted slogans on a wall saying “We will not remain silent to stone throwing,” and the Star of David was painted on one of the damaged vehicles.

Hafez Nimr, owner of one of the damaged cars, said the fanatics have slashed tires of 10 cars in the area of his home and 12 others in a nearby area. He said he believes the vandalism took place at around 2:00 a.m.

Amar Natshe, another damaged car owner, said police inspected the damage and told them that if the perpetrators were found, they will be compensated and if not, they would not.

He said the tires of his vehicle were slashed and Star of David was painted on it.

Price Tag is an underground Israeli militant organization that targets Palestinians and their property everywhere, including in Israel where its members slashed last week tires of 28 vehicles in the village of Abu Ghoush, west of Jerusalem., defaced Muslim cemeteries and painted hate and anti-Christ slogans on churches.

The Israeli government still refuses to label it as a terrorist organization and considers it only as group of vandals. Police rarely arrest its members.
