RAMALLAH,
June 3, 2013 (WAFA) – UK Foreign Secretary William Hague Monday congratulated
Rami Hamdallah on his new appointment as Prime Minister of the 15th Palestinian
government.
Hague
wished Hamdallah best of luck and success and hoped for further cooperation
between the UK and Palestine.
Hague
expressed hope that the new government will witness a breakthrough in the peace
process.
Hamdallah
thanked Hague for calling and congratulating him and called on the UK to play a
central role in ending Palestinians’ suffering and in enabling them to practice
their right to independence and freedom.
