NABLUS,
June 3, 2013 (WAFA) – Jewish settlers Monday set Palestinian agricultural land
east of Nablus on fire causing heavy damage to the crops and fields, according
to a local activist.
Ghassan
Daghlas, who monitors settler activities in the north of the West Bank, said
settlers set fire to almost 10,000 square meters of fields in the village of
Madama.
Settler
arson of Palestinian property in the Nablus area has been on the rise in recent
months prompting strong local and international criticism of Israel’s failure
to rein in the settlers.
