Fayyad Condemns Israel’s Decision to Demolish Village near Hebron

HEBRON, June 24, 2012 (WAFA) – Prime Minister Salam Fayyad condemned Israeli decision to demolish all 50  houses in the village of Susiya, in the Southern Hebron Hills.

During a tour in Hebron on the open-day organized by the European Union for children living in areas suffering from the violence of the settlers in the West Bank, he said that 50 homes housing about 350 Palestinians were issued demolishing orders along with a clinic, community center and solar energy facilities.

Fayyad said: “We will stand by our people in Susiya to prevent demolishing the village.”
