KHAN YOUNIS, May 20, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Sunday opened fire at Palestinian farmers east of al-Qararah, a town in southern Gaza, injuring one, according to local sources.

They said that Israeli soldiers stationed at the watch towers along the Israeli borders with Gaza fired machine guns at Palestinian farmers, injuring a 22 year-old Palestinian in the foot.

The farmer was transferred to hospital for treatment. His condition was described as moderate.
