JERICHO, June 14, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists on Saturday launched a provocative assault on Palestinian property in the Bedouin community of Shalla al-Auja, north of Jericho, according to local rights activists.

Hassan Mleihat, coordinator of the Al-Baidar Organization for the Defense of Bedouin Rights, reported that colonists spread out among residents’ homes in the al-Omareen area, releasing their flocks to graze within the community in a repeated act of provocation.

Thecolonists also used the community’s water tank to hydrate their livestock—despite the fact that local residents bear the financial burden of water deliveries due to the absence of a regular water network. According to Mleihat, colonists attempted to sabotage the area’s limited water infrastructure.
