RAMALLAH, March 14, 2012 (WAFA) – Palestinian film ‘Jerusalem Bride’, by filmmaker Sahera Dirbas, received a special award from the Amicizia Sardegna Palestina (the Palestinian-Sardinian Friendship Association) in Al Ard Doc Film Festival 2012 in the Italian city of Cagliari, a press release said Wednesday.

The film captures the day-to-day difficulties Palestinian families face living in Jerusalem’s Old City, as the lens follows a social worker exploring the suffering of four Palestinian families due to the social eco-political situation in the Old City.
