RAMALLAH, March 7, 2012 (WAFA) – The death of two Palestinian children in an explosion caused by an Israeli army leftover mortar shell in Sair, near Hebron, dominated Wednesday’s issue of the Palestinian Arabic dailies.

Al-Quds and Al-Hayat al-Jadida highlighted the explosion in Hebron, where two children were killed and four others were injured in the town of Sair.

The dailies reported on US President Barack Obama’s meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, warning of any plans that might include military intervention in Iran and Syria.

They featured demonstrations across the West Bank in solidarity with the prisoner, Hana Shalabi, who has been on hunger strike for 19 days protesting her administrative detention without a charge or trail.
