RAMALLAH, March 6, 2012 (WAFA) – An Israeli military court Tuesday ruled that activist Ibrahim Bernat will not be allowed to participate in the weekly non-violent protests in the West Bank village of Bilin for three years, according to a statement by village activists.
If Bernat does not obey the rule, said the court, he will be arrested and fined $650.
Bernat is an active member in the village’s seven-year-old protest movement against Israeli settlements and the construction of a wall on village land.
