RAMALLAH, February 28, 2012 (WAFA) - The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) in the Palestinian Territory increased by 1.23% in January compared to December, a report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) said Tuesday.
It said PPI for exported products increased by 0.79% while PPI for locally consumed products increased by 1.27% compared to December prices.
PCBS said changes in the January prices were due to an increase in the manufacturing group by 0.70%, in agriculture goods by 2.23% and in fishing by 7.57%.
