KAMPALA, January 6, 2012 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in Uganda Friday night on an official visit during which he will meet his Ugandan counterpart Yoweri Museveni.
While in Jordan before flying to Uganda, Abbas met Jordanian Foreign Minister Nasser Judeh, who is responsible for getting the Palestinians and Israelis to talk again after more than 15 months of no negotiations.
The next Palestinian-Israeli meeting will take place in the Jordanian capital Amman on Monday, according to the United States State Department spokesperson Victoria Nuland.
