RAMALLAH, December 27, 2011 (WAFA) - The overall Producer Price Index (PPI) in the Palestinian Territory with its base month (January 2011=100) reached 99.49 in November 2011, an increase by 1.07% compared to October 2011, Tuesday said a report by the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS).

The PCBS said the Producer Price Index for exported products (January 2011=100) reached 101.68 in November 2011, an increase by 0.30% compared to October 2011.  

Producer Price Index for local consumed products (January 2011=100) reached 99.28 in November 2011, an increase by 1.15% compared to October 2011, it said.

PCBS traced the changes in PPI for November to changes in prices of several major activities compared to the previous month, including an increase in agricultural goods by 2.30%, in fishing by 5.10%, and in manufacturing group by 0.42%, with no changes in mining and quarrying, the report concluded.
