GAZA, December 18, 2011 (WAFA) - Israeli gunboats Sunday arrested two Palestinian fishermen while fishing at sea coast of al-Soudania, south-west of Gaza city, according to local sources.
Witnesses said that two navy boats intercepted the fisherman’s boat, confiscated their boat and arrested them.
Gaza fishermen suffer from continuous harassments by the Israeli navy boats that roam Gaza waters and restrict fishing rights to fishermen to only three miles of the 20 miles agreed on in the Oslo accords, as part of the Israeli ongoing blockade on the Strip.
