RAMALLAH, December 18, 2011 (WAFA) – Fatah Central Committee Member, Nabil Shaath, Sunday said to Voice of Palestine radio that he will visit Gaza on December 23 or 24, after leaders of the Palestinian factions return from Cairo to Gaza, to “reinforce efforts to complete the reconciliation and end division.”

Fatah movement is determined to achieve reconciliation and implement its agreement in light of the prevailing positive atmosphere and changes resulting from the Arab Spring, Shaath said.

Commenting on the Quartet’s latest meetings, Shaath said that “there are no updates on this matter, in light of the Israeli aggressive position and the current right-wing government that allows settlers to continuously commit crimes against Palestinians.”
