RAMALLAH, November 30, 2011 (WAFA) – The Israeli government Wednesday decided to release the Palestinian tax revenues that it has been withholding for two months, according to Israel radio.
It said the Israeli top cabinet ministers approved to transfer $100 million in tax money to the Palestinian Authority.
Israel has been withholding more than $100 million in tax revenues in a punitive measure after Palestine won membership in UNESCO and the Palestinians resumed discussion on internal reconciliation.
