QALQILIA, September 6, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Tuesday arrested five Palestinians between the age of 18-21 during raids at Azzoun and Kufr Qaddoum, towns east of Qalqilia in the northern West Bank, said local sources.
In Azzoun, soldiers arrested four Palestinians after raiding several houses and tampering with their contents.
Abdul Raouf Jomaa, head of Kufr Qaddoum local council, told WAFA that Palestinians were warned of an Israeli raid on the village after soldiers and settlers gathered at the village’s eastern entrance early Tuesday.
Around 30 soldiers arrested Khader Jomaa, 21, after they raided, searched and ransacked his family home.
