Wataniya Losses Over $15 Million in first Half of 2011

NABLUS, August 8, 2011 (WAFA) – Wataniya Palestine Mobile Telecommunications’ net loss reached $15,764, 916, during the first half of 2011 compared with a net loss of $30,340,255 from the first half of 2010, a decrease in loss by 48.0%, according to data the mobile telephone company had submitted to the Palestinian stock market, Palestine Exchange, and published Monday.

Total assets of the company have reached $304,552,955 as of June 30, 2011 compared to total assets of $351,806,108 as of December 31, 2010, a net decrease of 13.4%.

Total liabilities of the company have reached $157,621,547 as of June 30, 2011 compared to total liabilities of $189,109,784 as of December 31, 2010, a net decrease of 16.7%. Net ownership equity of the company has reached $146,931,408 as of June 30, 2011, compared with a net ownership equity of $162,696,324 as of December 31, 2010, a net decrease of 9.7% in the last six months.
