RAMALLAH, August 7, 2011 (WAFA) - The Palestine National Authority (PA’s) Central Election Commission (CEC) Sunday conducted training for the registration exhibition and challenge supervisors in Ramallah on the conditions and procedures of registration, exhibition and challenge, according to a press release by CEC.

The release said that the trained supervisors will in their turn deliver similar training to registration staff later on.

It said that 57 supervisors from 11 West Bank districts attended the training workshops which were delivered by four of CEC’s accredited trainers. Participants were divided into two groups and the activities focused on exploring the common mistakes in voters’ registries.

It should be indicated that the CEC conducts similar training prior to each electoral event as part of its preparations for the upcoming local elections assigned on October 22.
