RAMALLAH, May 18, 2011 (WAFA) - Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA) monitored incitement and racism against the Palestinians and Arabs published by the Israeli media between May 6 and 13.
In his book, Schueftan, a Professor in Haifa University, accused Palestinians living in Israel of being the Fifth column, working to exterminate the Jewish state from within through non-violence methods, unlike their fellows in Hamas and Fatah but more dangerous. He called on to isolate them behind a separation wall to cut their connections with the Arabs who live in the West Bank and Jerusalem.
Barid also said that the Arabs consider what happened in 1948 a ‘Nakba’, but the truth is they are distorting the fact that they initiated violence and war. He added, there’s no possibility that Arabs will recognize a Jewish state as “they (Palestinians) consider Israel a colonial state.”
Yoram Ettinger published an inciting article on Hadriyah Hardim website under the title “Abbas is a Holocaust Denier and a Terrorist”; in which he criticized Israel’s negotiations with Palestinian Authority (PA) and president Abbas.
He accused PA of conducting anti-Semitism brainwashing in its educational system, media and religious institutions and accused Israel of covering Abbas’s true face as a Holocaust denier, a terrorist, one of the planers of Munich operation and an ally of the repressive communism regimes in Eastern Europe.
Makor Richmon religious newspaper published an article by David Merhav titled “Nakba is the Outcome of Arab Nazi Acts”; in which he considered the Arabs’ 1948 disaster a continuation of the catastrophic outcomes of the Germans after they failed to exterminate the Jews.
“What they call ‘Nakba’ is an absolute lie and an attempt to distort history; they aim to hold Israel responsible for the Arabs’ disaster to overcome the fact that the ‘Nakba’ is the outcome of the Arabs’ attempts to finish what the Nazi started,” Merhav added.
“We Must Launch War for Judea and Samaria” (the West Bank) is the title of an instigating article by Israeli Army Reserve Major, Moshe Hsdai, published on Kikar Hashbat website.
Hsdai incited against establishing a Palestinian state and called on to “recruit all forces in Israel” to impose complete Israeli control over the West Bank, saying “it’s time for the Judea and Samaria’s council of settlements to take a stand and start a war to defend Israel.”
NFC website published several racist articles by Nurit Granger; in which he claimed that the Palestinians “have inherited anti-Semitism and bloodlust” from Islam and that the ‘peace process’ aims to genocide Jews.
In one of the articles, Granger claimed that Islam’s brutal anti-Semitism in Quraan is spreading across thousands of mosques in the world, whereas in another article, he said “the land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people before Mohammad decided to invent Islam; the religion of extremism and killing.”
The website also published an inciting article by Abraham Ibn Ezra under the title “There’s no Palestinian State Free of Terrorism”; in which he instigated against Palestinian factions and against establishing a Palestinian terrorist state .
Ibn Ezra claimed that Palestinians can’t manage a state and called on to destroy all terrorist organizations, including Fatah, Hamas, Hezbollah and Al Qaeda. He said, “The minute a Palestinian leader decides to eliminate terrorism, which will never happen, another pro-terrorism leader will replace him; there will be no Palestinian state free of terrorism!”
Abraham Tirosh, in his article published on NRG website, expressed fears of the latest developments in the region, saying “we are worried of the possible negative developments and threats such as: riots, Coups, and the dangers of extremist Islamic control in the region.”
He called on Netanyahu to “convince Obama and the world that Israel can’t negotiate with Abbas after he signed an agreement with terrorism,” referring to the reconciliation agreement between Hamas and Fatah which he considered “might lead to a terrorist organization which will rule the West Bank.”
Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper published an article by Boaz Handel; in which he said that recognizing a Palestinian state by the United Nations (UN) is a good opportunity to officially incorporate the settlement blocks to Israel and build new series of Jewish communities.
“With all due respect to UN resolutions, there is no strategic threat to the State of Israel; the Palestinians declared their state in 1988, and still no peace reached,” he added. “The Palestinian state lacks stability and further political developments without stability will increase the danger.”
Ynet website published an article for Prof. Dan Schueftan; in which he attacked the Arabs living in Israel, specially Muslims, claiming that they aim to destroy Israel and are pro-terrorists.
“For them [Arabs], the establishment of a Jewish state is an illegal and a colonial initiative, which can only be corrected by a national Jewish suicide. During our Independence Day celebrations, they didn’t grief the refugees’ suffering, but they grieved the Palestinian failure to exterminate the Jewish homeland.”
