NABLUS, April 25, 2011 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Prisoner’s Club (PPC) in Nablus, Monday said that Israeli prison’s administration transferred Palestinian prisoners including prisoners’ leaders from Jalbou’ prison, as an arbitrary punishment measure.
According to Ra'ed Amer, head of the Prisoner’s club in Nablus, the prisons’ administration is trying to create a state of instability among prisoners, violate their normal life and divide them through its inhuman repressive tactics and continuous transference to different prisons.
He added that depriving prisoners from visits, holding them in solitary confinement and not allowing them to go out to the prison’s yard is part the administration’s mass punishment Policy in response to their demands of improving detention conditions.
Prisoners called upon all organizations and factions to expose the measures of the Israeli prison’s administration and support prisoners through solidarity activities.
Meanwhile, PPC in Jenin called on all humanitarian, international and Red Cross organizations to immediately intervene to save the life of sick Palestinian prisoners detained in Israeli prisons.
It should be noted that the prison’s administration’s medical negligence policy led to the death of hundreds of prisoners and the spread of several chronic diseases among them.
