RAMALLAH, April 24, 2011 (WAFA) – Jewish settlers Sunday attacked a Palestinian school bus heading on a field trip at the Jaba crossroad between Ramallah and Jerusalem, injuring a student, according to Safa Barghouti, in charge of school trips at the ministry of education.
She said that a school trip consisting of four buses and carrying 200 students and 13 teachers were attacked by settlers while heading to Nablus from Hebron.
Barghouti added that the attack resulted in breaking most of the buses’ windows, slightly injuring a student in her arm, in addition to spreading fear and panic among students.
Meanwhile, WAFA has also monitored three other attacks by settlers on Palestinians on the main crossroads leading to Nablus city in the northern West Bank.
