Appeal to Allow Surgery for Palestinian Prisoner

JENIN, April 24, 2011 (WAFA) – The family of 20 year old Palestinian prisoner, Qasim Taleb, Sunday called upon all humanitarian and human rights organizations to intervene and pressure the Israeli authorities to allow medical operation for their son who is detained at the Israeli Megiddo prison for more than two months.

Palestinian Prisoner’s Club (PPC) lawyer informed Taleb’s family that their son is in an urgent need for a liver surgery and suffers from a deteriorating health condition due to procrastinating his surgery by the Israeli authority.

Taleb’s family holds Israel fully responsible for his life.
