GAZA, APRIL 6, 2011 (WAFA) – Michael Spindelegger, the Austrian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Wednesday called on Israel to lift the siege imposed on Gaza and open all crossings.
He called during a visit to Gaza on the European Union to take an initiative to end Gaza’s suffering. He also called on the Palestinians to unite and reconcile for the service of Palestine.
Spindelegger entered Gaza through Rafah crossing with Egypt.
He was briefed on the difficult humanitarian situation, which affects people and their daily life due to the Israeli siege and closure of the crossings.
