RAMALLAH, April 6, 2011 (WAFA) - Head of Palestinian Prisoners Club Qaddoura Fares said Wednesday that the Palestinian prisoners will go on a one-day hunger strike on Thursday to protest keeping prisoners in solitary confinement.
They will also demand better medical services and an end to humiliating strip searches their families under go when visiting them.
The strikers will also demand the release of Akram Mansour, the third-longest serving Palestinian prisoner, who suffers from a tumor in the head among other diseases.
