GAZA, April 2, 2011 (WAFA) – Hamas military wing, Izeddin Al-Qassam Brigades, Saturday held Israel responsible for any consequences that may result from the killing of three of its members, according to a statement issued by the Brigades.
Israel killed three members of Al-Qassam Brigades in a late Friday night air strike. The three, and a fourth who was seriously injured, were in a car near Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip, when a missile hit their car setting it on fire.
A statement by the Brigades said Israel “will pay dearly” for the killing of the three Al-Qassam fighters.
Abu Obeida, an Al-Qassam spokesman, said that if Israel “wants to play with fire, it will be burnt by it.”
Two of those killed were brothers from Shati refugee camp and the third from Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City. One of them, Ismail Labbad, was described as a senior member of the Brigades.
