RAMALLAH, March 28, 2011 (WAFA)- Palestinian National and Islamic Forces Sunday called for broader public participation in commemorating the Land’s Day on March 30.

It called on all Palestinians in the West Bank, Gaza, inside the green line (Under Israeli control) to participate in the activities to be held on that day.

The forces condemned recent Israeli escalations of attacks in the Gaza Strip and called for the intervention of the international community.

They also condemned Israeli settlement activities and attempt to juadaize East Jerusalem, calling on Palestinians to hold on their goal of ending the Israeli occupation.

The forces stressed on the importance of abbas’s initiative; ending the Palestinian division in order to end the Israeli occupation, and the preparation for national elections.

They held Israel responsible for the harsh conditions Palestinians are exposed to in Israeli jails.
