NABLUS, March 2, 2011 (WAFA) - Israeli settlers Wednesday rebuilt water wells and a recently evacuated illegal outpost near Nablus north of the West Bank, after Israeli forces had destroyed the structures recently.
Ghassan Daghlas, PA official who monitors settler violence, said that settlers brought “transitional structures” as they reconstructed the wells in Havat Gilad outpost.
Daghlas added that Israeli bulldozers started razing lands this morning in order to expand Shiloh settlement.
Sources told WAFA that settlers attack Palestinians each time the army demolishes a settlement or a well in a settlement. A Palestinian couple was injured when settlers threw a firebomb into their house. Settlers have also been reported to close roads and pelt Palestinian motorists with stones.
Settlers announced that they have planned a “day of rage” Thursday, where they will have sit-ins and attack Palestinian villages and neighborhoods.
Meanwhile, in Hebron, soldiers destroyed a water well and agricultural land and arrested five Palestinians from several surrounding villages Wednesday.
