RAMALLAH, March 1, 2011 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas Tuesday received an important letter from General Hussein Tantawi, head of the Egyptian Higher Military Council.
Tantawi stressed in the letter the deep ties and relations on all levels between Palestine and Egypt and the need to keep and preserve these ties.
He said Egypt will continue to actively work on all fronts of its interest and foreign policy priorities, adding that he look forward to continue consultation and coordination between the two countries.
The letter was delivered by Egypt’s ambassador to the Palestinian Authority Yasser Othman.
