Released Prisoners in Hebron Call for Job Opportunities

HEBRON, March 1, 2011 (WAFA) - Released Prisoners in Hebron called Tuesday for provision of job opportunities and support of prisoners in Israeli prisons.

Amjad Najjar, Head of Prisoner’s Club in Hebron, said that this need came after prisoners’ meeting with directorate of the Ministry of Prisoners Affairs to discuss the difficult conditions of prisoners after their release.

Najjar called on specialized bodies to provide jobs for prisoners who served the Palestinian cause.

Ibrahim Najajreh, an official in the Ministry of Prisoners Affairs, said the ministry gives special attention to released prisoners and is working out strategic solutions for their problems.

He called for all possibilities to solve problems of released prisoners and to find jobs for them.
