RAMALLAH, October 14, 2010 (WAFA)-  The President of the Republic of Finland,Mrs. Tarja Halonen, paid an official visit to EUPOL COPPS’ Headquarters, located in Ramallah, within her regional visit to Israel, the Palestinian Authority and Jordan.

The Finnish President and her delegation met with EUPOL COPPS’ Head of Mission, Commissioner Henrik Malmquist, the Finnish Contingent Commander, Juha Huuskonen, and all Finnish Mission Members.

EUPOL COPPS’ officials briefed the President on the Mission’s mandate and daily activities, and also on the broader European Union’s support to the Palestinian Security Sector Reform and the Justice Sector Reform.
