Silwan Welcomes Israeli Knesset Members with Stones

JERUSALEM, October, 12 (WAFA) - As tensions in East Jerusalem continues a car carrying Israeli right wing Knesset members was stone-threw during a “provocative tour” in the Palestinian neighborhood of Silwan in occupied East Jerusalem.

 

Yoel Hassoun( Kadima), Uri Ariel(Halhud Haleumi) , Ya’akov Katz (Likud), Nissim Ze’ev(Shas), Aryeh Eldad (Hatikva) and Anastasia Michaeli( Yisrael Beiteinu)) whom are from far-right parties arrived to Silwan and met in Beit Yontan outpost, although the Israeli court decided the closure of this building.

 

Dozens of young men from Silwan were waiting for the Knesset members as they welcomed them by throwing stones at their armored cars, despite they were heavily guarded by the Israeli police.

 

The Israeli Knesset members said that they arrived to silwan in order to the stop the implementation of court decision. In addition, the Israeli Internal Security Minister, toured Silwan, threatening to arrest dozens of Palestinians if the stone- throwing on settlers cars continues.
