JERUSALEM, September 11, 2009 (WAFA)- Two citizens were wounded as Jewish settlers opened fire against unarmed Palestinian citizens in two separate incident in the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Silwan.
Silwan is a densely populated village located on the southeastern slopes of the Old City of Jerusalem. The area, which is located near the site of Siloam and which houses approximately 55,000 residents, was annexed by the state of Israel in 1967.
Earlier, Israeli Occupation Forces arrested two Palestinian women at Qalandiya check point, which linls Ramallah to East Jerusalem.
